Nia cardio-dance workouts combine dance arts, martial arts, and healing arts to get you fit in 60 minutes - body, mind, emotion, and spirit. More than just a workout, Nia is a holistic fitness practice addressing each aspect of your life - body, mind, and soul.
Nia is based on the intelligent design of the body. Each workout brings mindfulness to your dance movement experience leaving you energized, mentally clear, and emotionally balanced.
The soul-stirring music will help you de-stress & burn calories, leaving you energized and calm. No dance experience is necessary, and all levels of fitness are welcome.
Advance registration is required. You may purchase single passes or packages of 5 or 10 classes.

Pamela Berk & Amy Pappageorge
Pamela Berk is a Brown Belt Certified Instructor of the Nia Technique, currently teaching in the Western Suburbs for the past 10 years. Amy Pappageorge is a White Belt Certified Instructor who is passionate about this creative, rejuvenating, and holistic form of exercise. At Nia you will learn how to "listen" to the body, via sensations, choosing pleasure over pain. We will guide you in ways to improve your balance and posture, while increasing flexibility, agility, and strength. Through the joy of dance, you will find health. We look forward to sharing the joy of movement with our students at HeartGarden.
